Lima Beans In Tomato Sauce
3 slices bacon, finely chopped
2 c. tomatoes, cooked or canned
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1 tsp. vinegar
4 c. dry baby lima beans, 2 c. uncooked
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 tsp. chili powder
Fry chopped bacon; remove from pan. Put
remaining ingredients into fat; simmer for 25
minutes, or until thickened. Sprinkle beans
with bacon before serving.
