For Sue wanting homemade salad dressings in the 6/20
newsletter, here are a few I have always used:
Thousand Island Dressing #2
1-1/2 cups mayonnaise
1/2 cup chili sauce
1 Tbsp onion (grated)
1 boiled egg (chopped)
2 Tbsps green pepper (finely diced)
2 Tbsps celery (finely diced)
2 Tbsps stuffed olives (chopped)
2 Tbsp. Sweet pickle relish
Blend well. Store in refrigerator. Makes 2 cups.
(This is EXCELLENT on boiled shrimp. We have just a shrimp
salad with crackers sometimes for a complete meal)
