Outstanding Pork Chops and Rice
3 pork chops
1 tablespoon or less oil, I use olive oil
salt, pepper & garlic powder
1 tablespoon or more Worcestershire sauce
1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
½ cup tomato sauce
1 cup beef broth low sodium
½ cup brown uncooked rice
Season and poke holes in the pork chop and pour the
Worcestershire sauce of the chops. Brown the chops with oil
in a large skillet. While chops are browning mix together
the soup, tomato sauce and broth in a bowl. In another bowl
put the rice and take a 1 cup of liquid mixture and pour
over the rice. When the chops are browned lower the
temperature to simmer pouring the liquid and rice mixture
over the meat. Simmer on low heat for 30 to 45 minutes or
until done. You may have to add more of the liquid mixture
over the chops and rice.
