Here is another recipe for baked beans
in the crock pot. I copied this from a 2005 newsletter, but
no longer have the name of the person who submitted it. I
have left out the soy sauce on some occasions, if I did not
have any on hand.

Baked Beans with Pineapple for Crockpot
1 pound lean ground beef
28 ounces baked beans
8 ounces pineapple tidbits, drained
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped (can be sweet red pepper or
omitted)
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
In a skillet, brown beef; drain. Transfer to a 4 to 5-quart
slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover
and cook on low for 4-8 hours or until bubbly.(Really only
needs to be heated up.) Serve in bowls. 6 servings
