This is for Jody, who in the 6/29/10
newsletter requested recipes in which she can use crushed
Oreos. Judy had a great recipe in the 6/29/10
newsletter that I have made often. Here are other great
recipes. My family will eat anything that contains Oreos.
These are all a great hit at pitch-ins.

Oreo Layer Cake Recipe
1 package white or yellow cake mix -- (2 layer size)
1 1/4 cups water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups Oreos -- coarsely crushed
Grease and flour 2 - 9" round cake pans, set aside. Prepare
cake mix according to directions, using water, oil and eggs.
Fold in crushed Oreos. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake
at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool on wire
racks for 10 minutes, then remove cake from pans. Cool
completely before
frosting.
You can use cream cheese frosting and garnish with crushed
Oreos. or another frosting of your choice. I use
approximately1/2 can of store bought white frosting with 1
1/2 cups Cool whip mixed well; Then sprinkle additional
crushed Oreo cookies on top of the cake and sides.
