Layered Beef Casserole
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger, browned and drained
3 or 4 lg. potatoes, sliced
3 or 4 carrots, sliced thin
3 or 4 stalks celery, chopped fine
1 large onion, cut up
1 can peas, drained
1 can Progresso Italian-Style tomato soup
1 sm. can mushrooms drained
Grease casserole. Layer vegetables according to above. Salt
the potato and carrot layer. Pour soup over vegetables.
Sprinkle hamburger over the top. Sprinkle with cheese if
desired. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
