For Cassie in Kansas looking for a pie
glaze. Here's the one I use for Strawberry Pies.
It's clear and doesn't use jello but it does use Sprite or 7
UP.
Glaze Recipe
1 c. sugar
4 Tbl. cornstarch
10 oz. of Sprite OR 7UP
Combine and cook until thick.
Pour over fresh Strawberries in a baked pie shell.
You could also take your glaze recipe and use the Sprite in
place of some of the water.
