Cold Vegetable Salad
2 cans shoe peg corn
1 can French style green beans
1 can English peas (small)
1 jar pimento
1 green pepper, chopped fine
1 TBSP. green onion, chopped fine
Place in colander and drain well.
Mix in saucepan:
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. celery seed
Cook until sugar melts. Place drained vegetables in bowl.
Pour mixture over vegetables. Make the night before serving.
Keeps well.
