Hi Nancy,
I made the Chocolate Ice Cream recipe today that was
recently posted in your newsletter, sorry I don't know whose
recipe it was. I added a bit of this and that to the recipe
... boy was it GOOD, everyone LOVED it!!!
Here's the original recipe along with what I added to it.
Thanks

Chocolate Ice Cream
1 12 oz. tub cool whip
1 can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
1 gallon chocolate milk
Below are my additions to the recipe..
1/2 pint whipping cream (because I had some that needed to
be used)
1/2 bottle Hershey’s chocolate syrup ) or more, depending on
how chocolaty you want it.
1 tsp. vanilla
Whisk together cool whip, eagle brand milk, whipping cream,
vanilla and chocolate syrup. Add 1/2 gallon chocolate drink
and whisk. Pour into ice cream cylinder. Fill with chocolate
drink to the fill line.
Fill plastic tub (around cylinder) with ice and lots of ice
cream salt. keep adding ice and salt until ice cream maker
turns off.
