Buttermilk Sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 tbsp light corn syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 tsp baking soda
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil
for about 3 or 4 minutes.
Cool then chill.
This is good on ice cream or cake
