I saw the Peanut Butter Cream Pie in the June 23, 2010 newsletter. It reminded me of an excellent, very simple peanut butter pie. Here it is.

Scarlet Peanut Butter Pie

1 pkg (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1-1/4 cup confectioners sugar
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 chocolate cookie or graham cracker crust
Chocolate & peanut butter chips or pieces, if desired

In mixing bowl beat cream cheese, peanut butter and sugar with electric mixer til smooth. Mix (fold) in Cool whip. Pour into crust. Sprinkle with chips or pieces, if desired. Chill til firm. Enjoy!
