To Dot H in Mississippi…a great big thank you for the Fresh Broccoli Salad recipe! Made it on Saturday for a big bbq for Sunday and it was a huge hit!

Thank you for sharing! Another dish I made for the bbq was a fajita bar and I want to share the recipe for the marinade. It was out of this world delish and made what could be a fairly tough piece of steak (flap steak) very tender. I marinated boneless chicken breasts and the steak with the same dressing, grilled over medium heat, sliced thin and served grilled onions and
peppers, tortillas, guacamole, salsa, hot sauce and sour cream with them.

Marinade
(for 1 1/2 lbs of steak and 1 ½ lbs of chicken)

3 large garlic cloves
1/2 cup loosely packed fresh cilantro
1/3 c orange juice
3 T olive oil
1 T fresh lime juice
2 t chili powder
1 t dry mustard
1 t oregano
1 t salt
1 t ground cumin
1/2 t ground coriander

In a blender or food processor finely chop the garlic and cilantro. Add the
remaining ingredients and process until smooth. Divide between steak and
chicken, marinate 1 – 2 hours in refrigerator
