Barbecued Brisket
6 pounds beef brisket
4 ounces liquid smoke
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
pepper to taste
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 cup Heinz barbecue sauce with onions
Coat the brisket with salt, pepper and liquid smoke. Wrap in
foil and refrigerate overnight. Before baking, sprinkle both
sides of meat with Worcestershire sauce. Bake at 250 degrees
in tight foil for 5 hours. Uncover, add barbecue sauce and
continue baking 1 hour longer. Cool, refrigerate and remove
congealed fat. Slice thinly, replace in foil and refrigerate
until ready to reheat and serve.
