This recipe is delicious and so easy to put together. This
can be made with any fresh fruit. I'm anxious to try apples.
Also, the recipe called for a 400 degree oven,
however, that is too hot for my oven so I lowered
the temperature to a 375 oven.
Plum Cake
Mix: 1 1/2 cup flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt
Mix: 3/4 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1/4 cup oil, 1/2 cup milk Add wet
ingredients into the dry
Pour into an 8" buttered spring form pan. (Easy removable)
Cut thick slices from 2 plums/gently press into batter.
(I cut 8 slices from each red plum)
Mix: 1 Tbs sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon and sprinkle on top.
Dot w/2 Tbs butter
Bake 375 oven 40-45 minutes. Cool on rack. Unmold.
