Butterscotch Chocolate Pie
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/3 c. flour (all-purpose)
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. milk
6 tbsp. Hershey's chocolate flavored syrup
2 egg yolks, well-beaten
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
9-inch baked pie shell
Thoroughly combine sugar, flour and salt. Stir in the milk, chocolate syrup and
beaten egg yolks. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Remove
from fire; blend in butter and vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell; cool. Chill
in refrigerator. Serve with sweetened whipped cream, if desired.
