Sugar Cookies
2 cups flour
1 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter or shortening
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup sour milk
Cream butter and sugar, add beaten eggs. Add salt, baking powder, soda, and
nutmeg to flour. Add flour and milk to sugar mixture alternately. Bake at
375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
