Meatloaf with Potatoes and Gravy
4 lb. hamburger
2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
24 saltines
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. catsup
1 small diced onion
5 potatoes
In a large bowl combine hamburger, salt
and garlic salt. Mix with hands. Add
eggs, Worcestershire sauce, onion and
garlic. Mix well. Crush crackers fine
and mix well. Shape into loaf. Cover
with water, 1/2 way up meat. Cover meat
only with foil. Bake at 325 degrees for
3 hours. Peel, wash and halve potatoes.
Salt them and coat with flour. Shake off
excess flour. Place them around meat
loaf. Stir and cover meat loaf
only with foil. Bake 10 minutes and stir
again. Bake 10 minutes and stir again.
Bake until potatoes are tender. It
