Butterscotch Marshmallow Brownies
2 sticks margarine
2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla extract
4 eggs
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) chocolate chips
1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) butterscotch chips
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. Crisp Rice cereal
1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow creme
In large mixing bow, cream margarine, sugar, cocoa and
vanilla. Add eggs and beat well. Add flour and salt and mix
thoroughly. Spread mixture evenly in a greased 10 x 15 inch
pan. Bake at 350 degrees 25 minutes. When baking time is
almost up, melt chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and
peanut butter in heavy saucepan over low heat. Stir until
smooth. Mix in cereal. Spread marshmallow creme over baked
brownies while still hot. Then spoon on cereal mixture and
carefully spread with knife. Cool before cutting into bars.
