Bisquick is a pre-mixed baking product sold by General Mills
under their Betty Crocker brand. It consists of flour,
shortening, salt, and baking powder (a leavening agent). It
first came out in 1931 and was first intended to make biscuits
quickly. Bisquick now is used to make a large variety of baked
goods.
