Ground Beef Diane
2 lb. ground round
2 tsp. seasoned salt
2 tsp. seasoned pepper
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. chopped parsley
pimiento (optional)
Mix ground round, seasoned salt and pepper in a large bowl.
Shape into 6 large burgers 1-inch thick. Melt 2 tablespoons
butter in a large skillet. Remove from heat; blend in
oil and mustard; return to heat. Sauté hamburgers over
medium heat 4 minutes on each side. Remove and keep warm.
Stir lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and remaining 2
tablespoons butter into skillet. Stir over low heat until
well blended with drippings. Stir in chopped parsley. Spoon
over steaks.
