Return to March Recipe Index
This is something that I find really easy to make and I use
just about anything for the meat. Hamburger, or beef strips,
chicken and pork. Hope you will try it Phyllis T. I'm 76 and
find that if it is quick and easy I will make it.
Top Roman Noodle Dinner
1 lb. hamburger, or other meat browned
1/2 chopped diced onion
Brown hamburger and add onion, cook until onion is soft.
Remove from skillet and add one packet of flavoring from Top
Roman Noodle (I put hamburger in bowl I want to serve in
later).
2 cup water
1/4 tsp. powdered ginger
2 cups frozen mixed veggies (Can be any of your choice and
you get a different meal each time)
2 or 3 Packets of Top Roman Noodles (I use chicken flavored
because that is what I like )
2 green onions.
Sliced or slivered almond optional(Some times I use
peanuts).
Add water to skillet, bring to boil add ginger and veggies,
cook for 10 minutes. Add crushed noodles. Cook another 3
minutes add the remaining flavored packages, stir and put in
serving dish. Now add chopped green onion on top and serve.
Sometimes I also add a few sliced almonds on top.
TIPS. I have also made this dish using all fresh veggies
when garden is producing. Or just use what you have in
refrig. Just keep it easy and enjoy.
