For Kim in Wisconsin who is interested
in a sandwich spread for ham and cheese
on croissant rolls... This is a bit
different and brings request for the
recipe. For a delicious, less than fancy
sandwich try substituting a high quality
dinner roll split in half.
Sandwich Spread for Ham and Cheese on
Croissant Rolls
1 Tablespoon poppy seeds
1 Tablespoon dried onion flakes
1/2 regular yellow mustard
Mix all ingredients. Spread desired
amount onto each side of rolls that have
been spread with melted butter or oleo.
Then, layer the cheese and ham. This
amount will be about enough to use for
approximately a pound of deli sliced
ham. The proportions can be easily
adjusted as to number of sandwiches
needed.
My husband and I just celebrated our
50th anniversary in December with a
wonderful reception that proved to give
us priceless memories! Good luck in your
preparations and your parents are sure
to be appreciative.
