Italian Sausage Spaghetti Sauce

2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup butter
2 (1 pound 13 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 cup beef broth
2 cloves garlic, crushed
12 mushrooms, sliced thick
5 mild Italian sausage links
1 1/2 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon Worcestershire
1 tablespoon parsley
1 small can diced olives

Heat and melt olive oil and butter. Saute onions, garlic and mushrooms. Add hamburger. Slit skin on sausage and discard skin. Add sausage. Cook until brown. Drain. Add all other ingredients and cook at least 1 hour but preferably 3 hours.
Serves 4.
