Request in 3/24 newsletter to use excess Hershey Bars.
Brownies Plus
3/4 cup Chocolate Chips
1 cup butter
2 cup sugar
4 beaten eggs - beat them to blend - don't use a mixer
2 tsp. Vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
5 - 7 Chocolate candy bars (Nestlé's Treasures Cappuccino,
Truffles Bars, Hershey's Symphony Bar, Nestlé's Crunch or
Hershey's Almond bar)
Melt chocolate chips and butter in microwave. Add the sugar
and mix well - let cool. Add the eggs and vanilla and then
the flour. Prepare a 9X13 pan (recommend lining the pan with
foil then spraying it with a nonstick spray, or you can just
spray the pan with the spray that contains flour.) Put 1/2
of the batter in bottom. Layer the candy bars
on top of the batter. Put the remaining batter on top. Bake
350* for 30 - 40 minutes. NOTE: you could use 2 brownie
mixes - one for the bottom batter and one for the top batter
if you are pushed for time OR don't have the ingredients.
