For St. Patrick's Day:
Leprechaun Lime Drink
1 qt. lime sherbet, softened
1/2 c. limeade concentrate
2 T/ sugar
2 cans ( 12 oz) lemon-lime soda, chilled
1-2 c. crushed ice
In mixing bowl, blend sherbet, limeade & sugar. Stir in soda
& ice. Pour into glasses. Garnish if desired w/ lemon slices
placed over rim of glasses.
Yield: 7 cups ( 1 c. serving w/sugar free sherbet & diet
soda = 209
cal.)
The Dom De Luise Family's Pistachio Cake
1 white or yellow cake mix or your favorite recipe
2 boxes pistachio instant pudding mix ( 3.4 oz)
1/2 c. canola oil
1/2 c. warm water
1/2 c. milk
5 eggs
1/2 c. poppy seeds (optional)
Blend all in large bowl. Beat on Med Hi 2 min. Pour into
greased and
floured
bundt or tube pan and bake 45 - 50 min. at 350.
Shamrock Sandwiches
1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. mayo
2 T. Dijon mustard
1 pkg. (2 1/2 oz) thinly sliced cooked corned beef, chopped
2 T grated red onion
2 t. snipped fresh dill or 3/4 t. dill weed
1/4 t. salt
1 lb. thinly sliced seedless rye bread
Fresh dill sprigs, optional
In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, mayo, & mustard. Add
corned beef, onion, dill & salt, mix well. Using 2 "
shamrock cookie cutter, cut out 2 shamrocks from each slice
of bread. Spread tablespoonfuls of filling over half & top
with remaining bread. Garnish w/ dill if desired. About 16
sandwiches.

a recipe for Grasshopper Punch. Anybody have one? Had it
once years ago. Looks green and foamy.
