Coconut Bars
1/2 cup butter
1-1.2 cups light brown sugar
1-1/4 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup chopped nuts
1 can (3-1/2 oz) flaked coconut
Cream butter. Add 1/2 cup sugar. Add 1
cup flour and mix well. Pat mixture into
greased pan. Bake at 375 degrees 12
minutes. Mix 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup flour
and remaining ingredients. Spread over
baked mixture. Bake 20 minutes. Cut
while warm. Cool on wire racks.
