I have also been reading how good asparagus is for us. So, I
decided to make some soup.
Asparagus Soup
1 (15 oz.) can asparagus
1 (14.5 oz) can chicken broth
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter
salt and pepper to taste
Blend the asparagus, with liquid in a blender or food
processor until completely smooth. Heat asparagus and
chicken broth together in a medium saucepan over medium
heat. Stir in milk, and bring to a low simmer. Stir in
butter to finish and season to taste with salt and pepper.
