This is a low fat, healthy and delicious
sauce. I top this dish with some grated
Romano cheese. I have this love affair
with grated Romano cheese and put it on
everything but Jell-O. However, I'll bet
if I really thought about it I just
might come up with a way to incorporate
it into that also. Hummm! Stay tuned!
By the way, I have also used this as a
topping for steak and baked potatoes.
Not to mention eating it by the
spoonful.
Olive and Cream Cheese Pasta
In a bowl mix:
1-8 oz block cream cheese at room
temperature. I used the lite version.
1 1/2 cup green olives with pimento,
chopped
2 tbs olive liquid
black pepper, freshly ground
3/4 cup almonds, chopped
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Toss with 1# cooked pasta of your
choice. .
