Cauliflower Salad
Serving Size : 8

1 large head of lettuce
1 large head of cauliflower
1/2 pound bacon, fryed crisp*
1/2 medium onion, chopped
2 cups mayonnaise
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
2 Tablespoons sugar

*Fry bacon until crisp and break into bits OR (You can use the bought bits and estimate the amount you want in it.) Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Break cauliflower into small flowerettes.

In a large bowl, put lettuce on bottom and cover with cauliflower so no lettuce is exposed. Whip mayonnaise and mix with chopped onion, bacon bits, cheese and sugar. Put over the cauliflower layer. Cover tightly and chill overnight. Toss before serving.

P.S. This makes a HUGE salad. I carried it to a church supper and not one bite was left!
