This is a good recipe that my daughter's 4-H leader served a couple of years ago at a meeting. She served it with key lime tortilla chips, and had printed out the recipe for everyone ahead of time because she always received requests for the recipe once someone had tried it. Hope you all enjoy it!

Mango Papaya Salsa

2 ripe, firm mangoes
1 sweet onion, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 small jalapeno, seeded and minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
1 ripe papaya
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
1 tsp. minced lime peel

Seed and peel the papaya, peel mangoes and cut flesh from pit-cut into 1/4 inch dice. Mix onions, peppers, garlic, lime peel, lime juice, cilantro, salt and pepper. Stir well. Add papaya and mango, toss gently. Chill covered at least 2 hours and up to 24 hours. Enjoy!
