This is for Sandra of Oregon that is looking for a moist
Orange Cake. I get raves from everyone when I make this &
it's very moist.
Linda’s Orange Cake
1- Duncan Hines cake mix
1-15 & ¼ oz. Del Monte diced peaches (drained)
1-11 oz. can mandarin oranges
(drained)
1- small box orange Jell-O
½ cup hot water(for the Jell-O)
½ cup cold water(for the Jell-O)
Make cake as directed on pkg. & add the peaches & mandarin
oranges. As soon as it comes out of oven mix the Jell-O with
the hot water till dissolved & then add the cold water to
Jell-O. Pour this over the cake after poking holes in cake
with a skewer or something similar. When cake is completely
cooled add topping.
Topping
1- 8 oz. Cream cheese, room temperature
1- 8 oz. cool whip(thawed)
1- 20 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
1- small box of instant vanilla pudding
Mix all of this together & put on cooled cake.
