I think some of your readers might enjoy this recipe. My family really likes it and we will use it during this holiday season. It goes well with any poultry, ham or pork. While it makes a large amount, it can be halved but it freezes very well. I always have several small containers in the freezer.

Cranberry Apricot Relish

4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
2 cups chopped dried apricots
1 cup raisins
1 Tbsp. orange zest
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
2 cups water
1/2 cup brandy
1 cup sugar

In a large pot, put all but sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes or until cranberries pop. Remove from heat and add sugar, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Cool. If the mixture seems a bit dry, add a little more brandy or water. Makes 2 quarts.
